SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT OF STUDENTS

Vidyalaya Won Champions’ Title in Cluster-I CBSE Tournament:

Both boys’ and the girls’ Kho-kho teams of the Vidyalaya won the CBSE cluster-I championship in the current academic session (2011-12). The tournaments were held at Gems International Public School, Guwahati on 29th and 30th September 2011. Both the teams are qualified to play at the national level tournament to be held in Haryana from 24th to 28th November 2011.

Achievements in sports in Margherita Block:
The Kho-kho, Volleyball and football teams of the Vidyalaya won laurels in the block level competitions held in August at Margherita. The results were as follows:
Kho-kho:         1st Prize
Volleyball:       2nd Prize
Football:          2nd Prize

Vidyalaya March-past Team Best in Parade:

The Vidyalaya team comprising of 22 boys received first prize for their parade on Independence Day during the celebration in Central Field Margherita on 15th August 2011.

Radio Programme by Vidyalaya:

A group of 9 students and 4 instrumentalists took part in a variety programme comprising of a chorus, recitation of 2 poems and a tabla recital for Seuji Sora, a programme aired by All India Radio Dibrugarh Centre on 16th October 2011.
