Ekatmata Stotra (on Monday) and Hanuman Chalisa (on Tuesday) have been added to the morning assembly.

Bhajan Session for the Ayas and Bhaiyas has been added as one of the regular weekly activities of the Vidyalaya. Principal himself conducts the session every Thursday.

Soft Subject classes in Tabla, Vocal and Satriya are held once a week for the students of classes II, III, IV and V. Lessons are given to classes III and IV on Wednesdays and to classes II and III on Fridays.

Zero Period for Primary Section (classes –II to V) was implemented from 1st September 2011 with a modified routine. Class-I has been kept out of the ambit of the special routine as they have only five periods a day. As a result of the introduction of the Zero Period the primary students are now able to have their morning assembly in the Prayer Hall. They perform various programmes in the assembly as per a day-wise routine. Moreover Class Teachers can spend quality time and can give more attention to the kids in his class after the morning assembly now.

Other regular features of the Morning Assembly

Prayer, Pledge, Thought Explanation, Lingashtakam, National Song, Bhajan, Patriotic Song, Hindi Assembly, Weekly Special Programme (The house takes the liberty to decide about the programme in consultation with the teachers-in-charge of CCA). Performance of these items is regularly assessed by a few teachers (entrusted with the responsibility) and the records are maintained systematically at school.
